RudeBuild version 1.5 has been released. This release adds support for Visual Studio versions 2017 and 2019 (Community, Professional, and Enterprise) but drops support for any previous versions of Visual Studio as the maintenance work required to do so has become too much for me. Also given that Microsoft makes Visual Studio 2017 and 2019 Community Edition available for free I don’t consider this to be a big deal.<\/p>\n

Otherwise the only new feature in this release is asynchronous initialization of the extension upon Visual Studio startup, something that is now required with Visual Studio 2019.<\/p>\n
